Encourage investment of time, skills, and resources in Mount Pleasant by communicating the importance of inclusive community-led efforts to honor and embrace the character of Mount Pleasant.

Historic Downtown Mount Pleasant will soon have a new look. The City of Mount Pleasant, with received grants through the Tennessee Department Of Transportation, will be making improvements to Main Street (State Highway 243). Outdated infrastructure is slated to be replaced and will include underground utilities, new sidewalks, and an expansion of Mount Pleasant’s Square. Please see the above rendering of the project. As more information is received, we will be sharing updates to schedules and timelines on this website.
